Work Place Inc.'s Employment Service Eliminates Problems
The Employment Service provided by Work
Place eliminates many problems associated with hiring and employing new
people because we take care of everything. We use a Hiring Process which
provides you with the best qualified people to meet your needs. Work
Place handles everything.
The Work Place Hiring Process
Let’s face the facts, hiring people is not
an exact science. We all have hired the wrong people. But the reality
is, there are only three things that make a “good” employee.
- They must have the ability to do the
job.
- They must be willing to do the job
(willing to work, be on time, not be absent).
- They must get along with fellow
workers (they are not “good” if they are causing problems).
Work Place works very hard to find a
person that meets all three requirements. Work Place:
-
Runs the ads
-
Screens and interviews ALL the
applicants
-
Considers job location and employee
location
-
Conducts police checks as needed
-
Checks driving records as needed
-
Conducts drug testing as needed
-
Conducts or arranges for skills testing
as needed
-
Hires the best qualified people for your
job openings
-
Follows up immediately with you to
ensure your satisfaction with the new employees
-
Follows up periodically with you to
ensure your continued satisfaction with all new employees
-
Councils or terminates employees who are
not working out
-
Work Place replaces employee as needed
If there is a problem, all
you have to do is call Work Place, explain the problem, and we will take
care of it.
Work Place Can Find You Temporary
Employees
If your company needs
one or more extra people during a peak time, Work Place can supply
you with qualified temporary employees. If your needs are for permanent
employees we can find them for you as well. To find the right person, we
always follow the Work Place Hiring Process.
Temporary Employees
Reduce Your Hidden Labor Costs
Your company benefits
by getting its peak-season work done without hiring permanent employees
which reduces your company's hidden labor costs.
If you hire a person
and have to reduce your work force later, your employee will be able to
file for unemployment benefits.
Every time you reduce
your work force, your unemployment rate goes up for next year…on ALL your
employees.
That charge will no longer be against your account if you use a Work Place
temporary employee.
Any work related
accidents (Workman’s Comp) are not charged against your Company as long as
you are using Work Place temporary employees. Industrial accidents by
Work Place temporary employees will be charged against Work Place.
Similar to unemployment, if Workman’s Compensation increases, it increases
for all employees.
It costs money to
process payroll, taxes, withholdings, Workman’s Comp, etc. Work
Place does all the “paperwork” relative to employment. This saves you the
most money of all. You no longer have any time or labor spent in
supporting these employees. Remember, for as long as you are utilizing a
Work Place temporary employee, they are employed by Work Place and are
therefore Work Place’s responsibility.

Permanent Employees
You Can Count On
Maybe the opening is
for a permanent position, if you find the right person. Wouldn't it be
great to know if you have the right person before you hire them? As
stated in the Hiring Process section, hiring people is not an exact
science. We have all hired the wrong person. But Work Place lets you see
just how good they are before you make the decision to hire.
By allowing Work Place
to find your permanent employees you can see how “good” the employee is
before you actually put them on your payroll. Work Place will find the
employee and put them into your Company as a “Temporary” employee for
three (3) months (520 hours) and you can evaluate them. After the 520
hours you may hire the employee on to your payroll with no extra fees. If
during this time you decide you do not need or like the employee, Work
Place will remove the employee and find another if you want.
This
is a big benefit to you. No liabilities. No payroll taxes. This is a
real pre-employment evaluation.
The actual cost is
usually less than you would pay if you did it yourself.
Work
Place Can Payroll Permanent Employees
You can take advantage
of Work Place’s Permanent Employees Program even if you find the
person you want to evaluate. Just call Work Place and ask us to put an
employee into the program and we will do so at a discounted rate. The
discount comes from the fact that we didn’t have to find the employee, do
the interviewing or spend our time processing the applicant.
